B-52 Proposal Submission

ESP, Inc. Press Release: September 3, 2010

ESP, Inc, a logistics and training company headquartered in Orlando, FL, has submitted a proposal for the USAF B-52 Training Systems Contractor Logistics Support program. ESP’s experience as a prime contractor on major training systems CLS programs such as the P-3C surveillance aircraft and the EA-6B electronic warfare aircraft demonstrate the company’s ability to vie for this important training program for the strategically critical B-52 bomber. In addition to its own in-depth training systems services capabilities, ESP would draw on experience from its sole subcontract partner, CAE USA, for major modification and engineering support for the B-52 training systems and devices located at Barksdale AFB, LA, Minot AFB, ND, and Sheppard AFB, TX. ESP chose CAE USA as its major subcontractor because of their strength and experience as a provider of world class aircrew training devices, training services, and training systems modifications and upgrades. CAE is a global leader providing simulation and training solutions for aviation markets, including aircraft such as the C-130 and C-5 transports.

“I am very excited about the potential synergies ESP can bring into the Air Force training systems marketplace,” said Mike Roberts, ESP’s Chief Executive Officer. “With support from CAE USA, a world-class training systems development, modification and engineering company and premier support contractor to the Air Force, I am confident of our prospects for capturing this critical program,” he added.
The B-52 CLS contract is a Small Business Set-Aside acquisition, with an award expected in March of 2011. At less than 500 employees, ESP is a small business contractor, with training services support contract activities located throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and internationally.
