ESP, Inc. Wins 5 Year DoD contract
Orlando, FL - July 9, 2010: Engineering Support Personnel, Inc. (ESP) announced July 9th the company was selected for the Fielded Training Systems Support III (FTSS III) Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) and also selected as the recipient of the first Task Order under this MAC, the Naval Aviation Survival Training Program (NASTP). Services provided under the NASTP are for Contractor Operation and Maintenance of Simulators (COMS) at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC; Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL and Naval Station Norfolk, VA.
The training devices used under this effort provide aviation physiology and water survival indoctrination to military pilots, flight officers, aircrew, selected passengers, and specialized training and research operations for hospital Corpsman and Aerospace Physiologists. Some of these devices include the Modular Egress Training System (METS), Universal Ejection Seat Trainer and the Altitude Training/Rapid Decompression Chamber.
The Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract includes a base ordering period ( 5 years) and three (3) option ordering periods, for a total potential ordering period of 8 years. The maximum quantity set for the Small Business Set Aside MAC is $80,000,000 which represents the cumulative total of task orders awarded for all CLINs over the ordering period.
